Slow burner this. Pakistan need to start upping the pace in a bit but the foundation is there. Think they might win it

2 down now and a whisker away from a run out
Think India might grind them out & get home by about 30

S Africa were 4 for 80 odd in the early game before Miller 138no & Duminy 115no got going

Zimbabwe were flying along but no strength down the order. Would've beaten us though

Have said some of these associates could surprise.
Afghanistan gave Australia a tough fight in an ODI about a year ago with the game touch and go for a long time.
And do you reckon Scotland will be up for the England game?

The Scots will have a good go Sven. They may run out of quality. Something familiar to us

Re: World Cup : India v Pakistan
Decent start for Davenport after looking at the card, as think he's on Misbah to get the most runs for Pakistan. Bit of a legend and shehzad is the only other batsman who regularly gets runs.

India will still struggle against the teams who like these fast wickets.

Blimey, we'll done Ireland.

With overs to spare as well.

Re: World Cup : India v Pakistan
Great win for the Irish. Maybe they don't need Eoin Morgan.

Saddest thing is that it didn't come as a big surprise to me against a West Indies team who seem in meltdown. Still have some talented short form players (when they pick them all) but the administrators and the players spend more energy fighting each other.

The JOCKS smashed Ireland last week, so I won't be in the least bit surprised if they turn us over

Re: World Cup : India v Pakistan
Paul Collingwood MBE is assistant coach for Scotland. Might have been a useful man in the England camp.

As I mentioned yesterday watch out for Afghanistan.

So is this the official CWC thread then?

The Irish absolute cruised that chase. It's a bit of a shame how far the Windies have fallen, but I understand they're "building" for 2019, so perhaps we're being a bit harsh.

Ahem.
